Bass Face has had a traumatic life. At an early age he was horribly disfigured by a penguin related mauling, the taunting of the other children led him creating the mask to shield him from their gazes and them from his physical scars. The soothing sound of the bass guitar was able to give him purpose and new meaning to life.

A chance encounter with Mr Majestic in an insane asylum led them to break free from the prison and live a nomadic lifestyle with the rest of the band.
